How to Install netcfg-static software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

netcfg-static software package provides Configure a static network, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install netcfg-static

netcfg-static is installed in your system.

Make ensure the netcfg-static package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep netcfg-static *

You will get with netcfg-static package name, version, architecture and description in a table
